- Had less finer materials such as wool and linen
- Had neckties
- Had no patterns
Slaves (poor)
- had only one outfit
- Only wear linen
- Wore linen because its the cheapest and its good for working in the hot sun
- House slaves would sometimes get their masters old clothes
